Stadtbahnprogramm Gera Stufe 2, Wiesestraße BA 4-7 Beschreibung Die Wiesestraße soll bis 2030 grundhaft und auf Stadtbahnniveau auf ausgebaut werden. Der Bauabschnitt 4 bis 7 erstreckt sich von der Kreuzung Arminiusstraße bis zur Wiesestraße 209/211. Die Gesamttrassenlänge beträgt 1,33 km. Soweit möglich, wird der vorhandene Bahnkörper als Besonderer Bahnkörper neu ausgebildet. Zielstellung des Gesamtvorhabens ist insbesondere die Beseitigung von Störquellen des ÖPNV, Erhöhung der Reisegeschwindigkeit mit Verbesserung des Fahrkomforts sowie Erhöhung der Zuverlässigkeit und Anschlusssicherheit.
